Hey there, Soul Seasoners!
Teresa and Michael here, back with another adventure that we can't wait to share with you all. This time, we took a delightful stroll through the Pasadena Certified Farmers' Market, and let us tell you, it was an experience that truly elated our senses!
Located centrally in Pasadena, the market offers an assortment of fresh produce and artisanal goods. Upon arrival, we were met with a diverse array of stalls showcasing seasonal fruits and vegetables. We couldn't resist picking up some juicy oranges, each variety bursting with flavor and sweetness. Trust us when we say, there's nothing quite like sinking your teeth into a freshly picked fruit!
As we weaved through the market, we found ourselves drawn to the lively energy of the local vendors. There was one stand that had collected a particularly large circle around their stall. Harry’s Berries was the vendor and could not bag strawberries fast enough. We passed by again around 20 minutes later and they were sold out. Next time we HAVE to get in line early to see what the people are buying out!
Of course, no trip to the farmers' market would be complete without indulging in some delectable treats. We made a beeline for Old Town baking Company, where Michael found his favorite chocolate-dipped coconut macaroons. Oh, the decadence! Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with the perfect balance of sweetness and texture. It was the ultimate indulgence, and he savored every last crumb.
As we bid farewell to the market, our souls and bellies full, we couldn't help but reflect on the appeal of community and the joy of supporting local businesses. The Pasadena Certified Farmers' Market isn't just a place to shop—it's a vibrant hub where connections are made, stories are shared, and memories are created. The dedication to locally sourced items, and knowing where your food comes from, is the true farm to table connection here.
So, if you ever find yourself in Pasadena on a Saturday rain or shine, be sure to swing by the farmers' market for an experience that will tantalize your taste buds and nourish your soul. And don't forget to grab yourself some chocolate-dipped coconut macaroons from Old Town baking Company—they're truly a taste of heaven!
Thank you for following along with us.
